Things you shouldn’t forget if you are holidaying in Spain this year
Whether you are in your early 20s and are looking for a country where you can party this summer or if you are middle aged and are looking for a picturesque place to explore, Spain is a country that caters for just about everyone.
Spain is ideal for anyone who is looking for an adrenaline-filled vacation, with the possibility of skiing in Sierra Nevada or a day of action-packed watersports on the Andalusian coast. But Spain is equally as enticing if you wish for a quiet break, because almost every town is full of stunning architecture, art, and cuisine.
Wherever you go and whatever you choose to do, there are certain things you must remember to sort before jetting off to Spain this summer, or you could have serious regrets when the plane touches down.
Here are some of the things you shouldn’t forget if you are holidaying in Spain this summer:
Save bag space for holiday purchases
None of us can resist ourselves when on holiday and we always come back with more than we left with, so remember to save a little bit of room for holiday mementos.
European Health Insurance Card
The EHIC, which is the replacement of the old E111 card, is vital for giving UK citizens the right to access state-provided healthcare when holidaying in another European country. Without it, should you be in an accident or be taken ill, you could be returning to the UK with a very large bill for your care.
If you need to renew your health card for yourself or a family member, be sure to get it sorted nice and early.
Check the temperature of your destination prior to packing, because too many people make the mistake of taking far too many items of clothing.
Pack your phone charger first
It’s one thing we always need to take with us, but almost always forget. No one wants to pay extortionate airport prices, so get that phone charger packed nice and early.
Before you leave, check you have your money, your EHIC and valid passport. Then check again!
