For many people, they do not need a set of reasons to visit Paris. This beautiful city draws visitors from all over the world, throughout the year and it’s not hard to understand why. The history, culture and sights are incredible to behold! Yet 2018 is set to be a fantastic year for Paris, so if you’ve ever wanted to visit, or go back again, this could be your year. Take a look…

1. Europe’s biggest restaurant will open in 2018

Though the official date is still to be confirmed, this is one to watch out for. The increasingly successful Big Mamma group, who specialise in large Italian restaurants, are set to open their biggest restaurant yet, in Paris. Serving what they claim to be ‘the best pizza in the world’, this 24-hour restaurant will be well worth a visit and is bound to draw in everybody from foodies to families.

2. Lollapalooza festival hits Paris in July

Summer in the city is wonderful for many reasons, not least the return of Lollapalooza – an extravagant music festival that took to Paris for the first time in 2017. Its success means that it is returning to the city, and with last year’s line up boasting the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weekend and Liam Gallagher, you can expect a star-studded show to hit Paris again in 2018. Music lovers can tie in festival experiences with a trip to the French capital, for a summer holiday you’ll never forget.

3. Star Wars themed extravaganza at Disneyland

Adults and children alike will love “the Season of the Force”, running from January to March at Disneyland Paris. In light of the many new Star Wars cinematic installments, this special event will feature shows, a Jedi Training Academy and the chance to meet many well-loved characters.
